Our FusionSensor combines HD3D Radar with HD Video to accurately detect, track, and classify road and rail users including vehicles, pedestrians, and bicycles. TrueEdge processing means no controller or processing units are required. With an on-board cellular modem, minimum infrastructure requires only power. This device is managed and updated OTA (over-the-air) using our online device portal, making installation and maintenance a breeze.

Our HD3D radar is accurate enough to sense a human heartbeat. Unlike traditional HD or UHD radar, our radar forms dense point clouds that can be used for count, classification, direction, speed, and occupancy detection, in any weather, day or night.

What is the FusionSensor?

A roadside traffic sensor that fuses HD3D radar with a 1080p AI camera in one 1.72 pound device. It counts, classifies, and tracks vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists, and runs multiple applications like parking and incident detection at the same time.

What is the difference between a radar traffic sensor and a camera-based one?

Radar measures presence, speed, and direction in any weather but cannot tell what the object is. A camera identifies objects but degrades at night and in rain and fog. FusionSensor runs both and fuses the readings 20 times per second, so each technology covers the other's blind spot.

How is FusionSensor installed?

In under an hour, on poles, mast arms, or rooftops at 8 to 30 feet, using a VESA 75x75 mount and a single CAT6 cable carrying both power and data.

How much power does FusionSensor use?

12 to 15 watts on average over PoE 802.3at or 802.3bt, 30 watts maximum. No separate compute box or controller cabinet hardware is required.

What data outputs does FusionSensor support?

JSON, XML, NTCIP, SDLC, MS2, and binary over 100BaseT Ethernet, LTE, or wireless, streaming directly to traffic controllers, ATMS platforms, and dashboards.

Does FusionSensor work in rain, snow, and fog?

Yes. It is IP66 and NEMA 4 rated, operates from minus 30 to plus 75 Celsius, and its radar-first architecture keeps detecting when cameras alone go blind.
