WORK ZONE SAFETY
The Backward Looking Advanced Detection Engine. Radar + AI-powered video collision detection for smart work zones: detects approaching vehicles, analyzes threats, and alerts crews in under 100 milliseconds. Detect, analyze, alert, and report, all on the device, all in real time.

USE CASES

Detects work zone intrusions at speed, triggers dual air horns and LED warning lights instantly, and pushes alerts via email, SMS, and wearable haptics. Built for active highway crews.

Backward-looking radar + AI video for slow-moving paint and lane-striping crews on active roads. Sub-100ms collision detection warns drivers and crews before impact.

Rear-end collision protection for fire trucks, ambulances, and police parked at incident scenes. Radar detects approaching vehicles; AI video classifies and alerts before impact.
CORE TECHNOLOGY

HD3D RADAR
Video alone fails in fog, glare, rain, and low light, exactly when work zone incidents peak. HD3D radar measures speed and distance accurately, 24/7, in every condition. Radar gives FusionBLADE the speed measurement, depth perception, and all-weather operation that camera-only systems can't deliver.
AI VIDEO
Radar alone can't classify a car vs. a truck or capture video evidence. AI-enabled HD video adds vehicle classification, low false-alert rates, and full incident playback, fused with the radar point cloud 20 times per second for sub-second collision decisions.

WHY FUSIONBLADE
Radar, AI video, and processor combined in a rugged anodized aluminum enclosure. No external controller, no separate DVR, no extra hardware.
Detect, analyze, alert, and report, all in under 100 milliseconds. 20 data points per second processed locally on-device, with no cloud round-trip slowing decisions.
Triggers dual air horns and LED warning lights on-site, plus email, SMS, wearable haptic alerts, and dashboard notifications. Every alert channel ships in the kit.
Retains a full year of event data on-device. Pull full incident clips, speed records, and detection logs without depending on network uptime.
Missouri DOT moved from pilot testing to fleet-wide deployment. Alerts calibrated to seconds-to-collision thresholds specifically for active work zone safety.

Contact UsBackwards Looking Advanced Detection Engine: a work zone safety sensor that mounts on the attenuator truck and watches oncoming traffic with fused HD3D radar and AI HD video.
FusionSensor is fixed roadside infrastructure serving many applications. FusionBLADE is purpose-built for mobile work zones: it rides the TMA truck, looks backward at approaching traffic, and times alarms from each vehicle's speed and distance.
Horn and strobe alarms on site, dynamic message signs, and contractor safety platforms and mobile apps, all fired simultaneously in under a second.
Yes, through months of side-by-side testing with MoDOT crews on live work zones, iterating alarm timing and firmware from operator feedback.
Yes. It provides full incident playback fused with the radar point cloud, giving agencies the record they need for post-crash analysis.
Yes. Every deployment also delivers FHWA vehicle classification, speed, and lane position for every passing vehicle, a complete traffic study alongside the safety alerts.
